'Out of Hand'
Coming 2026
About
Fresh from their international debut at the 2024 “Festival Interceltique de Lorient”, Out of Hand are two sets of siblings who share a passion in the music of their celtic heritage. With toe-tapping tunes and lilting melodies, Out of Hand blend traditional music with original songs and compositions, fast becoming one of Australia’s leading neo-trad groups.
These finalists of the "Trophée Loic Raison 2024" have performed across Australia at festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival and National Celtic Festival as well as overseas. They have collected over 1.3M views on TikTok and have just finished recording their debut EP to be released in 2026.
Performers Caleb (fiddle), Charlie (bodhran/vocals), Daniel (bass), Josh (guitar/vocals) and Sadie (fiddle/vocals/guitar), are all accomplished young musicians in their own rights. Caleb was elected ‘Face of the Festival’ for the National Celtic Festival 2019 and awarded a scholarship with Feis Ros in Scotland. Sadie was runner-up ‘Youth Folk Artist of the Year’ by the Australian Folk Alliance in 2021. Daniel and Josh both perform alongside their brother Caleb, in the Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers Club and Charlie is studying musical theatre at a prestigious Melbourne-based institution.
With 4/5 living in Melbourne and 1/5 in Sydney, exciting things are to come for Out of Hand in the next few years.
